About this grant

This grant is designed to improve the economic viability of local mushroom farming and promote sustainable agriculture. Local farmers like us have trouble standing out against large branded farms that offer lower pricing and sleek branding.

By helping us purchase these display refrigerators for local retail locations, we will be able to greatly improve the quality and shelf life of our mushrooms, while also improving our visibility and sales. This will greatly improve the profit as well as the sustainability of the mushrooms, which will be high enough qaulity to donate to local food banks if they aren’t sold during the week.
